Acerat Ltd was founded with a clear purpose: to combine world-class software expertise with a deep commitment to regional growth and development in Uganda and East Africa. While our journey began through close collaboration with Contango Consulting, a company with strong roots in Northern and Western Europe, Acerat has grown into a dedicated regional leader, bringing global standards home.

Shared Foundations, Regional Focus

Acerat and Contango share a common origin, founder, and vision: to help organizations succeed commercially by improving how software is built and used. Since 2017, Acerat has worked side-by-side with Contango on a range of international projects, gaining firsthand experience in what it takes to deliver high-quality software across borders.

Through this cooperation, Acerat has internalized the leadership, quality standards, and cultural mindset needed to perform at the highest level, not just technically, but in how we drive real business outcomes.

While Acerat’s roots are international, our focus has shifted toward regional impact. We’ve experienced the unique challenges faced by Ugandan and East African businesses, from talent development and leadership gaps to cultural and operational hurdles in delivering sustainable software products.

This experience led us to a new mission: to provide training, coaching, and strategic support to help local organizations reach international standards of excellence.
